iTop Portal 2 Demo

Want to see iTop Portal 2 in action and explore how it integrates with iTop to manage your IT services? Our demo environments let you test the portal and a connected iTop instance without any installation. Follow the instructions below to explore the features and interact with both systems.

Accessing the iTop Portal 2 Demo​

Our public iTop Portal 2 demo gives you a glimpse of its modern interface and ticket management features. You can test ticket creation and more.

  • Credentials:
    • User: pablo.picasso@demo.com
    • Password: Pa$$w0rd
  • What you can do:
    • Create and track tickets (requests or incidents).
    • View your user profile (accessible via the "My Profile" menu).
    • Discover the responsive interface on mobile or desktop.
  • Limitation: Some Pro features (such as the Kanban board, advanced statistics, or the documentation module) are not available in the free demo.

Accessing the iTop Demo​

To see how iTop Portal 2 interacts with iTop, you can also explore a demo instance of iTop. This allows you to test the connection between the two systems and see how tickets created in the portal appear in iTop.

  • What you can do:
    • View tickets created via iTop Portal 2.
    • Test interactions with the REST webservice used by the portal.
  • Note: This iTop instance is configured to work with our portal demo.

How to Test the Interaction​

  1. Connect to the Portal:

    • Access the iTop Portal 2 demo with the credentials provided above.
    • Create a ticket (e.g., a service request or an incident).
    • Add comments or attachments to simulate user interaction.

  2. Check in iTop:

    • Log in to the iTop demo instance.
    • Look for the ticket you just created in the portal (it should appear in the ticket list).
    • Explore details such as the ticket status or its relationships with CMDB elements.
    • Modify the ticket and return to the portal.
